Abstract

The government aims to protect and guarantee the community's right to clean water by ensuring continuity and resolving raw water problems. Based on the Drinking Water Supply System Master Plan (RISPAM) in Lampung Province, West Tulang Bawang Regency, water supply managed by local government business entities remains minimal. This study addresses the problem and identifies potential raw water sources in West Tulang Bawang Regency through measuring the discharge of the main rivers Way Tulang Bawang, Way Pidada, and Way Kanal using the F. J. MOCK method, mapping groundwater levels with the kriging method, and testing physical water quality (pH, TDS, turbidity, temperature). The accumulated discharge range with 90% probability is 2.17-19.10 m3/second, meaning raw water has sustainable status for the next 15 years. Turbidity in Way Kanan and Way Pidada Rivers exceeds quality standards (>15 NTU). Groundwater in Gunung Terang, Batu Putih, and Tulang Bawang Tengah does not meet standards with pH < 6, and Tumijajar has average turbidity of 17.78 NTU. © 2025 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
