Pulau Pasaran, a small coastal settlement in Lampung, Indonesia, is traditionally sustained by fishing and home-based salted fish production and has been designated as part of Indonesia's Minapolitan development program. Despite its economic and cultural potential, the island faces environmental degradation, limited accessibility, and declining spatial quality, which constrain its development as a sustainable tourism destination. This study explore how everyday spatial practices in Pulau Pasaran can be reimagined as meaningful tourism experience through the concept of everyday play. Using a qualitative design-based approach, this study combines field observation of daily activities with a collage of assemblage method as a visual analytical tool. Field observation document routine socio-spatial practices, while collages synthesize these findings into narrative spatial configurations that link local livelihoods, public spaces, and ecological elements. The findings demonstrate that everyday practices such as fishing, fish drying, and informal interaction contain strong spatial narratives that can be translated into planning and design strategies for Minapolitan tourism. It also contributes a design strategy by positioning collage of assemblage as an analytical and generative method for community-based tourism, offering an alternative approach to sustainable development rooted in local culture and everyday life. © 2026 by MIP
